Here is one of the few actual commission pieces Marvin ever created. We got a call from a woman who had bought several things from us at the Atlanta Arts Festival -- her husband had just finished a wine cellar in their basement, and she was hoping Marvin would make a special image for him to commemorate the event. We discussed what she hoped to spend, and she was agreeable to any design Marvin came up with. He was only interested in commissions if he was still allowed to be creative. We also knew the image would probably be popular, so he agreed and made this sweet little lino cut.
